The aim of the retreat is to create space to process this last year, clear any backlog of stress and move through it into a clear sense of spaciousness and vitality. There isn’t a much better place to achieve this than the tiny paradise of Maraviglia - a place where life follows with the rhythm of the countryside and time is led by the sun. Our Tuscan villa retreat, the natural peace of the open-air yoga shala and a well-curated program of Italian culture and exploration promises the reset we’re all needing.
The retreat will be limited to a small group of people to ensure a safer and more boutique experience. Niki’s teaching will focus on reestablishing our (inner and outer) radiance. After a tough year, our need to reclaim our spirit as individuals and in group settings is vital.
What to expect
On this retreat, we will curate a daily rhythm of sadhana, sacred practice, that will nourish your sense of spirituality, dissolve any hard line between spiritual and material life, and Niki will share powerful tools that create a whole, integrated and inspired life, everyday. Niki will lead two yoga classes each day. You can expect nourishing practices blending breath, mobility, strength and alignment. Every class will encourage deep listening, the release of congested energy leading to a more expansive sense of self. Mornings will be dedicated to warming, cathartic physical yoga and meditation to open the bodymind for your adventures during the day and prepare for the afternoon practice session. Afternoons will be tailored towards the more subtle realms of breath work, mindful self-inquiry and Yoga Nidra.
Tune into simplicity, nature and be among likeminded travelers. Swimming, free time, relaxing, reflecting, journaling, conscious conversation and mindful eating will all help you access this love and spaciousness. The activities on this retreat are curated to help you discover and fall in love with practices you can take home and easily implement into your daily life.
* All practices are open to all levels from true beginners to more advanced yogis. Every class is trauma-informed and made for ALL bodies and beings.
**COVID-19 | Yoga & Safety:**The yoga practices will take place in an outdoor covered yoga shala which is sunlit, easily sanitized & open air. Each guest will be provided with a yoga mat, strap, blocks, bolster and a blanket which they will keep for the duration of the retreat. Eco-friendly cleaning products will be provided to clean your mat and blocks as needed. The shala will be cleaned before each practice.
